10 For... ROBBIE WILLIAMS (Pt. 2)
Yesterday I delivered the first part of my look into the catalog of Robbie Williams, an artist who’s so much more popular in the UK than he is in the US that it’s laughable. As such, I figured his catalog was plenty worthy of a two-part look, so here we are now with part two.
Missed Pt. 1? Check it out here.
Now give a listen to 10 songs that take you from 2009 to 2020…and keep in mind that he’s got a new album coming out later this year!
1. “Morning Sun” (2009 – Reality Killed the Video Star)
2. “Shit on the Radio” (2012 – Take the Crown)
3. “Not Like the Others” (2012 – Take the Crown)
4. “Go Gentle” (2013 – Swings Both Ways)
5. “Super Tony” (2014 – Under the Radar Volume 1)
6. “Mixed Signals” (2016 – The Heavy Entertainment Show)
7. “Motherfucker” (2016 – The Heavy Entertainment Show)
I admit, I almost didn’t include this one, since its mere title apparently means that YouTube won’t let you properly embed it on the site. That said, you probably noticed above that they were just fine with letting me embed a song called “Shit on the Radio.” Apparently, “shit” ain’t shit, but this one… It’s a real motherfucker. Whatever, man. All I know is that it’s catchy as hell.
8. “International Entertainment” (2017 – Under the Radar Volume 2)
9. “I Just Want People to Like Me” (2019 – Under the Radar Volume 3)
10. “Bad Sharon,” featuring Tyson Fury (2020 – The Christmas Present)
Yes, it’s from Robbie’s Christmas album, but it’s still a really great song, and it’s as good a way to wrap up this list as any.
Looking for a playlist that contains all of these videos? I can do even better than that: here’s one that contains all of the videos from Pt. 1 and Pt. 2!
