Rescued Audio: Richard Kind on CLIFFORD
If you follow me on Facebook or Twitter, as I think the majority of you probably do, then you knew this was going to be forthcoming, so I hope I haven’t made you wait too long for it. It’s been a really, really, really long couple of days, with my daughter struggling through the last days of her sophomore year of high school and, more excruciatingly, her last few days of Trigonometry. Thank God that’s over…
But I digress.
From the Random Roles that Richard and I did when he was in the midst of fulfilling his promotional duties for Amazon’s Red Oaks, here’s his discussion about Clifford. You will notice that the sound quality is a little dodgy, for which I offer my apologies, but he and I were both on speaker phones, so I had to do some tweaking to get us even close to the same volume. It’s still a far cry from perfect, but it’s good enough that you’ll certainly find yourself smiling a fair amount and very likely laughing out loud at least once or twice.
By the way, to say that the conversation was a delight is an understatement: we *both* view it as one of the best interviews we've ever done...and I'm not just saying this, he actually told me as much when we finally in person. First, though, he said, "C'mere," and gave me a big bear hug. So, yes, Richard Kind really IS the guy you think he is.
Enjoy the fun, and - as ever - thanks for your support!
