Bruce Springsteen is my all-time favourite, would love to know which of his deep cuts you dig. And let's get some Barenaked Ladies and Carbon Leaf on here! :)
Will, I’m amazed that you have so many Irish bands in these playlists - Something Happens were big in Ireland but both Hal and A House were marginal at best. Don’t get me wrong - A House are one of my favourite bands but they were the indie darlings indie darling.
A House is a band I discovered during their tenure on Sire Records here in the States. They contributed "Call Me Blue" to one of the Sire compilations (I think maybe it was "Just Say Yo!") and they caught my attention immediately. But then I was able to see both Something Happens *and* A House live when I came to the UK in 1992 and attended the Fleadh in Finsbury Park. Hell of a lineup that year...including the late, great Kirsty MacColl.
Actually, I stand corrected: it's possible I saw A House at the In The Park '92 festival, which took place during that same window of time. Either way, I definitely saw them, because their performance inspired me to hunt down "Endless Art."

What if we want to tell you a favorite song of ours, not necessarily to be included in a list, just to see if you also like that particular song?
Go for it!
It’s long modern funk/jazz, not pop, but I am obsessed and forcing many friends and family to listen/watch: https://youtu.be/L_XJ_s5IsQc
And yes, I am late for the train but now fully aboard. I saw Steel my Dan close for these guys!
Sorry I didn’t catch Steel My Dan and change it back to Steely Dan, though that’s pretty funny!
