One of my most cherished souvenirs from our European honeymoon in 2002 is ‘Twisted Tenderness’ on CD from the Virgin Megastore in Paris. “Make It Happen” has powerful Chemical Brothers vibes.
Nothing like music-related honeymoon memories. Ours was in 2001 to England and Scotland, and I bought a bunch of CDs during that trip, up to the airport on our way home, when I snagged a lmiited-edition Cure best-of where the second disc is all acoustic performances. I also picked up a big, thick book about Creation Records that I made the mistake of purchasing early in the trip. It was like carrying a friggin' brick around the UK. My wife still shakes her head at my poor planning.
That Harvey Danger song is great, I got that CD when it came out. I also like "Wine, Women, and Song".
